A particularly fine impression printing with great clarity, from the edition of 30 printed on laid India paper and published by Carfax & Co. Ltd. in 1904. Not only are the Carfax impressions rare, but the wood-engravings especially were printed with considerable care on a well-chosen paper, with the result that they are far more pleasing than the earlier impressions printed for Calvert's son in 1893. The large backing sheet with minor handling marks but generally in very fine condition.
