A beautiful and delicate proof printed in brownish-black ink on antique laid paper by Robin Tanner in 1975 aside from the edition of 12 published by Garton & Cooke in 1982.
Signed and annotated by the artist in pencil, "Hedge Flowers": This impression on C18 paper, was printed in 1975 at Old Chapel Field Press, Kington Langley, N. Wiltshire.
In excellent condition aside from some slight discolouration in the margins where previously mounted.
Originally etched in 1936, Hedge Flowers was chosen as Tanner's Diploma print after he was elected an Associate of the Royal Society of Etchers and Engravers in the same year.
