A fine proof printed on heavy wove paper, presumably aside from the edition of 10 only. Rare. Signed by the artist in pencil and dedicated, à Galanis. Minor signs of handling in the margins but generally excellent.Demetrios Galanis (1879-1966), the recipient of this lithograph, was a Greek painter and engraver who had moved to France at the beginning of the twentieth century. He lived near Montmartre in Paris for fifty years exhibiting alongside Matisse, Picasso, Braque and Dufy.
